Mark started his professional career as a strategy consultant at Oliver Wyman. During his time at the company he worked on projects across the telecommunications, media, surface transportation and aviation sectors. These engagements took him far and wide to places as diverse as Canada, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Nigeria and many others. Following his time at Oliver Wyman he worked independently as a consultant, including helping with the initial stages of the formation of the New Development Bank (NDB) established by the BRICS states.
However, Mark’s passion was and remains sport and he engineered a move into the industry through City Football Group (CFG). At CFG he worked across their full portfolio of clubs in the United Kingdom, United States, Australia and Japan. His remit covered the areas of partnerships, business intelligence, tours & friendlies and ticketing. Now at Two Circles, Mark is responsible for driving the growth of Two Circles presence in the North American market.
Mark is a passionate follower and participant in a wide range of sports. Given his upbringing was predominantly spent in Africa, you will often hear him loudly supporting South Africa in an English accent. He has also developed a love for NCAA competition in the U.S. Recently, Mark moved into the long-distance scene, completing the Comrades ultramarathon in South Africa. Once he learns to swim properly and use a bike, an Ironman will be next.
