Jon started his career at GfK/NOP, a top 5 global marketing research firm, delivering consulting and strategic insights to global companies including IBM, Microsoft and BT.

For the last 10 years, Jon has worked solely in sport, most recently as MD of Sportswise where he focused on client issues including customer acquisition, engagement and retention, sponsor ROI evaluation, hospitality development and ticket price modelling.

Jon has also worked on many major customer insight briefs for the Premier League, The Football League, Premiership Rugby and Super League. These projects are among the largest in sport targeting an estimated pool of 30 million sports fans across 118 professional sports clubs.

Outside of work, one of Jon’s past lives was as a musician, although having released two singles and two albums in the early 90s (not quite to the critical acclaim they deserved he would say!), he tells us he has hung up his guitar.
