Charlie graduated from the University of Bath with first class honours in Business Administration and experience in digital marketing. His degree included two placements: the first was the role of Marketing Assistant at the prestigious British country club, Stoke Park. He was responsible for engaging members and target audiences through online media, social media and email marketing. Charlie then worked in athlete management at Wasserman Media Group. He was part of a team representing golfers on the European Tour and European Challenge Tour. This role required him to support clients, as well as producing sales presentations for potential clients and potential client sponsors.
After university Charlie took a year out which included a volunteer expedition to Fiji. The project included building a medical centre and coaching primary school sports on the remote island of Gau, home of Fiji Sevens legend Serevi.
Charlie has always thrown himself at as many sports as possible. He excelled predominantly in football, moving through the age groups for home town Marlow, and joined the list of sporting greats to be raised in the town, including Sir Steve Redgrave and Matt Dawson, when he registered his first (and only) cap for Wycombe Wanderers… at Under 11s. He went on to represent Team Bath whilst at university. A lifelong Gloucester Rugby and Chelsea FC fan, Charlie has a passion for all sports and will play wherever possible.
