One of our ongoing projects with the England and Wales Cricket Board centres on helping the governing body to understand and promote participation in cricket at both a national and county level. The ultimate objective of this is to get more people playing cricket more frequently.

The initial results of this work are already yielding valuable insight into recreational cricket in England. In October, iSportConnect published an article detailing some of the findings of our joint work with the ECB on this project – in particular, the growing popularity of women’s cricket.

A month later, the ECB released more information, this time about participation in recreational cricket more broadly. To read this article in full, click here.

We hope to share more details on the results of this project in due course.
